Hi! I'm Karsen Lomax and I am so excited to be returning for my third season coaching for the Marlins! I am in my second year of college at Texas State University and I am currently preparing to start nursing school. I was a swimmer at Kingwood High School for 4 years, swam for BTA and NEHA when I was younger, and was part of the Marlins for 10 seasons before I started coaching! I can't wait for another fun and exciting season with this team!
Hi, I’m Brynlee Alder! I’m a senior in high school and have been swimming competitively since I was 4 years old. I currently swim for South Texas Aquatics as a sprint freestyler. For the past four years, I’ve owned a private swim lesson business, where I’ve worked with swimmers of all ages and ability levels. Outside of the pool, I love baking, lifting weights, running, reading, and going on adventures. I’m so excited for my first season coaching with the Marlins and can’t wait to have an awesome summer!
Hey Y’all! My name is Sophia LeMaire and I am so excited to be coaching for the Marlins this year! I am a freshman at Ouachita Baptist University, and I am currently on the university’s swim team and pursuing a major in Nursing. I have been swimming for 11 years, being part of the Kingwood High School varsity team for 4 years and swimming on BTA and TWST. I also swam for the Marlins when I was younger, and I am so excited to be coaching again this summer! In the past, I have been a swim coach on the FMKP Waves, and I am lifeguard certified, with experience in the manager and supervisor positions. Outside of the pool, I enjoy playing the violin, running, baking, shopping, and anything outdoors! I can’t wait for an amazing season and I’m so excited to be part of the Marlins this summer!
Hi, I’m Olivia! I live in Woodstream with my husband and our 3 kids- Charlotte, Kylo, & Kayden. Charlotte has been swimming with the Marlins since she was 3, and it’s been so rewarding to watch her grow as a swimmer. That makes coming back and coaching this season even more special for me. I’ve been involved in the swim world for over 18 years, including teaching swim lessons, training lifeguards and instructors, running aquatics programs at Life Time, and even owning my own learn-to-swim program. I’ve had the privilege of working with so many amazing swimmers and instructors, and it’s been a joy to help people of all ages improve their skills in the water. When I’m not coaching or spending time with my family, I’m teaching 6th-grade science at Creekwood Middle School and coaching 7th and 8th-grade girls' athletics. I’m so excited to be back with the Marlins and look forward to helping your kids not only improve their swimming but also have a lot of fun along the way!
