Volunteering

If you have already met your point requirement, please consider picking up a shift this weekend. We will need the help. As an additional incentive, every point earned over 7 will enter your family into a drawing to win free registration for a swimmer next year. As always, all volunteers must check in at the yellow tent by 7:45 a.m.

Team Photo Day

Friday, June 9 at 8 a.m.

Our team photo will be taken at 8 a.m. on Friday, June 9. Practice will be canceled this day, and instead, swimmers will have a Fun Friday swim after team photos are done. Swimmers need to be picked up from the pool no later than 9:30 a.m. All swimmers should wear their team swimsuit for the photo.

Individual swimmer photos will be taken on Thursday, June 8 for those who want an individual portrait. The photographer will be available during practice from 7 a.m. - 10 a.m. and swimmers can come at any time during that time frame. 

Divisionals

Saturday, June 17 // Atascocita High School

Divisionals is the meet when we compete against all four other teams in our division for one last meet. This is the last meet when swimmers can earn qualifying times for the invitational meets held on June 24-25. Meet declaration for divisionals will open later in the week.

Our team will be asked to provide a certain number of volunteers for this meet. More information will be sent out later.

T-Shirt Orders

A special shirt for the 2023 Divisionals Meet is available for sale. Order a shirt here. Shirts can be picked up at the meet on June 17. The order deadline is Friday, June 9. 

Coach’s Corner

Our swimmers did a great job at the meet against the Walden Waves on Saturday! We had so many swimmers improve their times and their strokes. Reminder, we are here to have fun, learn and practice good sportsmanship, and learn how to swim all events without disqualifying, so please remember swimmers need to be listening to the coaches at practices with their heads above the water. Please remind your swimmers of this before practice.

For our meet on June 10, make sure you declare your swimmer by NOON Tuesday so we know whether or not they are attending. If you do not declare your swimmer by the deadline, they will not be entered into the relays. Coaches will put swimmers into events based on their abilities and the team's needs. However, if you would like to make a request about which events your swimmer is in, please do so in the comments on Swimtopia.

Reminder, that Summer Champs is on Sunday, June 11. The registration deadline has now passed, so no more entries will be accepted. Later in the week, more information about the meet will be shared with those who have registered already.
