Hey Marlins!

Registration for the 2025 season will open on February 15! We’ll have an early bird discount on registration fees through February 28, so don’t delay. The registration link will be available on https://mbwmarlins.swimtopia.com.

As we approach the upcoming season, here are a few pre-season updates!

Team Leadership

Although we’ll miss having Coach Jax as head coach, we are super excited to have his mom, Carla Stevens, as the Marlins Board President this year! Carla is a former swimmer herself and part of our local swim community.

We also have some exciting updates about coaches! We’ll make a separate announcement about that once we have all contracts finalized. In the meantime, we are also recruiting for the Marlin Crew again this year. This is a group of 14-18 year old swimmers who help the coaches with younger age groups. If your swimmer is interested in joining our Marlin Crew, please indicate so during registration, and we’ll contact you with more details and an application form.

Sponsorship

If you or anyone you know has a business that is interested in sponsoring the team this year, please have them submit a sponsor form or contact our sponsorship coordinator Emily Larson at [email protected].

Season Schedule & Division

This season, we will be in the W2 division against teams in Kingwood. See the tentative schedule here.

Team Swimsuit

This year’s team swimsuit will remain the same as the suit we had in 2024. So, if your swimmer still fits into last year’s suit, you’re good to go! If you need to purchase a new suit, we’ll have a link available soon to buy the team suit online through Kiefer Aquatics.

Team Merch

In addition to t-shirts and swim caps, we’ll have a few new Marlins merch items this year: a tank top with the same design as the t-shirt and Marlins Swimmer yard signs. All team merch must be purchased during registration.
