COACHES’ CORNER
Another Marlin Win!
What an exciting weekend! We’re incredibly proud of our swimmers and the exceptional team spirit they continue to demonstrate. Your energy and support make a huge difference—thank you!
Looking Ahead: Invitationals
As we approach invitationals, please leave a comment in the note to coaches when you declare for a meet if you’d like to swim a specific stroke to try and qualify.
What is an Invitational?
Invitationals are special swim meets that require swimmers to meet certain qualifying times for each event. We’ll be sending out the time standards soon so you can see which events you’re close to qualifying in, and set your goals accordingly.
Reminders:
Block Access: Only coaches and officials are allowed behind the blocks during warm-ups and the meet. This keeps warm-ups organized and reduces distractions for swimmers. Thanks for understanding and cooperating!
Coach Contact Update: We have a new coach email address this season: [email protected] If you’re a returning family, please update your records and remove the old address.
Let’s keep up the great work! Go Marlins!

TIP OF THE WEEK
Divisionals vs. Invitationals
As you make summer plans, please remember that the swim season for the full team is not over until Saturday, June 14, when we compete in divisionals. This meet is open to all swimmers and will be held at Kingwood High School. We will compete against all 5 teams in our division at one meet.
Separately, there are 2 weekends when invitational meets occur. Swimmers must qualify for these meets based on their time in a specific event. The Summer Champs Invitational will take place on Sunday, June 8, at Kingwood High School. The season-ending invitationals will be held from Friday, June 20, to Sunday, June 22. More information about invitationals will be sent out later.
