Hello, Marlins Families!

The end of swim season is almost here! After divisionals next weekend (our last FULL TEAM meet), the final meets are the invitationals, held the weekend of June 20. Only those swimmers who have achieved qualifying times may compete. Our team will attend Ponderosa and All Stars. The Trinity Invitational that we have previously done is not occurring this year due to construction at the host pool. 

Qualifiers

Attached are the reports showing who is qualified for each invitational as of today. You can also see which events your swimmer has already qualified for by viewing the declaration webpages on Swimtopia for Ponderosa and All Stars. 

Swimmers can still earn qualifying times at the divisional meet next Saturday. The qualifying time standards are attached. 

Registering for Invitationals

Step 1: Declaration

• Declaration for invitationals is now open. You will only be able to sign up for events where your swimmer has met the qualifying time.
  • Ponderosa Declaration
  • All Stars Declaration
• If you are not attending, you don’t have to declare.
• Declaration will close on Saturday, June 14 at 6 p.m. Note that this deadline is a few hours after the divisionals meet ends. So if your swimmer achieves qualifying times during that meet, be prepared to register them that day.

Step 2: Payment

There is a cost per each individual entry as follows:

• $12 - Ponderosa
• $10 - All Stars
• Additionally, there is an athlete fee of $10 per swimmer

Payment must be submitted by Saturday, June 14 at 6 p.m. Payment can be made via the following methods. Include swimmer name and the number of entries in the memo.

Volunteering

Invitationals are NWAL meets, so our team will be asked to provide volunteers. Any family with swimmers at invitationals is expected to help fulfill our team’s volunteer obligations regardless of how many points you have earned or if you did a season-long position. More information about volunteer jobs will be sent out later.

DIVISIONALS

Divisionals is our last meet for all swimmers, held indoors at Kingwood High School on Saturday, June 14. Declaration is open, and we need everyone to declare by Monday, June 9 at 10 a.m. Declare for divisionals here.
