Good morning parents,

This Saturday is Divisionals at Atascocita High School and I have 36 open slots that need to be filled. 

The reason for the extra positions is that this season we have only five teams in our division instead of the usual six.  This means less volunteers for the same number of positions required to run the meet.  Every team in our division is going through this as well. 

A couple of things to think about:  Instead of the normal four drawings for a free registration, this season we have six.  Every point over the quota is a ticket in the one bag that I’ll draw from six times.  So you’ll have multiple chances to win.   For my families that have some points and my families that have yet to volunteer:  A babysitter for one day is cheaper than $250.  Family, friends, strangers off the street are welcome to volunteer in your name.  The person only needs to be 16 years or older.  Two people working all three shifts for concessions will net your family 18 points.  One more person working a couple of shifts elsewhere and you’re done!  It can be done.

Bottom line is that all of the positions need to be filled or they will halt the meet meaning that we will be there even longer.  Please help out and volunteer.  We really need your help!
