POINT REQUIREMENT
April 23rd
The point requirement for the 2013 season has been calculated. Each family will need to amass eleven (11) points to meet their quota and have their volunteer check returned to them. Just like last season, every point over the eleven point quota is a ticket that will go into a bag for a free 2014 registration drawing.
We had many parents sign up today for some of the season-long positions. Thanks to you for helping out. We still have a small ways to go though. We still need our Head Timer. Without him/her, we cannot have a meet. Please consider volunteering for this position.
We also need just four (4) more dads/moms for the equipment team. Right now we have only four dads. If we can get eight people, the set-ups and tear-downs will take no time. You will also help to keep your children, spouses, friends, and neighbors out of that hot sun. Help prevent sunburns!
Finally, we only need four (4) more tent parents. We need both parents for the 6 & under girls, one for the 7/8 boys, and one for the 11/12 boys. If you have a child in any of these tents, please think about becoming the tent parent. You write some numbers on their arms, walk them to the ready bench, and catch up on some reading while sitting under the awesome tent that our equipment crew set up just for you. Not a bad gig.
