Dear Mrs. Phelan,

Our volunteer coordinator, Ray Miller, has reported that the two of you had a conversation at today's meet about your volunteer points.  It is our understanding that you disagree with the revocation of your volunteer points and want us to reconsider our action.

The board has revisited the information about your volunteer performance and has had a long, thorough discussion.  Based on all the information we have been able to collect, we have decided that our original decision, to revoke four volunteer points, will stand.

Your position now, as we see it, is this:  After your volunteer work today you have a total of five points.  That leaves only five to go to your necessary ten.  If you are willing, Ray will do whatever he can to insure that you are able, during our last away meet and Divisionals, to earn those last five points and redeem your volunteer fee check.

If you choose not to work for the last few points, we will allow you to withdraw from the team.  Your volunteer check would then be returned to you, uncashed.

Please let us know as soon as possible what course of action you choose.  We hope in this way to resolve the issue to the satisfaction of everyone concerned.
